Gord and I lived in the same apartment building. Over the past few years we became friendly. Many times we sat on one of the benches outside and expressed our views and opinions on anything and everything. I especially enjoyed his stories about his years driving truck. We often passed each other during our daily walks around the block. He always had a kind word and a sweet smile. My life here at the apartment building will not be the same without him. I live in the same building as Gord, please know that everyone at memorial drive is very sad and upset at the loss of Gord. It has shaken everyone. I usually talk to talk to all the old folks and I can't put a face to the name. I wish him and his family nothing but peace.
