Condolences
Diane was full of life and full of love. She is my first cousin. I didn't meet her until I was about 9 yrs old. After that meeting, my life was never the same. She was 16 yrs old and full of life. She took me under her wing from that time and every weekend she would come and pick me up and take me to the Armstrong farm in Ottawa. She taught me how to ride horses and how to work the barns. She was my constant companion every summer as I grew into a teen. I remember going to Lake Wilcox and having a blast with her all summer long. We were inseparable. We visited the Moores and I would look forward to the next holiday that I could jump on the bus and head to Toronto. She was special. Over the years we grew and went our separate ways but she never left my heart or my mind. Just last year we connected again and my life felt complete once again. It saddens me to have never have had the chance to see her again. I will see her again one day and we will walk hand in hand again as we did when we were kids. It gives me peace to know that she knew how much I loved her. Rest in Peace Diane. Until we meet again.
Casey and Doug I sit here tonite and wish that I could be there to help you with your grief. Your mother was a wonderful mom, sister, fiend and cousin to me. Her memory will be cherished for many years to come and she will leave her legacy in both of you. I send my love and condolences to you both. Donna Victoria, BC
