Obituary of Alfred Burman

BURMAN, Alfred Lewis - Peacefully at Telfer Place Retirement Home, Paris on Saturday, October 27th , in his 93rd year. Loving uncle of Neil and Ron (Heather) and a great nephew and many great-nieces and great-great nephews and nieces. Alfred was the proud owner and operator of Burman Bakery in Hamilton for many years. As well he worked at Food City Bakery in Hamilton, Brantford and Woodstock before retiring. He was most happy traveling with his twin sister Ruth. Predeceased by his parents Lewis and Rose Burman, his brother Ron and his wife Freda and his sister Ruth and niece Janet Anderson. Alfred will be remembered by many other family members and friends. Friends will be received at Hill & Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 30 Nelson Street, Brantford on Tuesday, October 30th from 2-4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place in the chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Firestone Institute for Respiratory Health (pulmonary fibrosis) would be appreciated.
