Obituary of Betty Mitchell

MITCHELL, Betty Louise - Passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 3rd, 2013, at the Brantford General Hospital in her 77th year. Loving wife of the late Harvey Mitchell (2009), for over 50 years. Beloved mother of Don (Debbie) Mitchell, Wendy (Gord Mason) Treacy, Brenda (Tom Craftchick) Sim, Sheri Thompson, Bill Mitchell and the late Wesley Mitchell. Grandmother of 9 and great-grandmother of 14, plus a bun in the oven. Dear sister of Don, Pat, Jim, Carol, Tom and Karen. She will also be dearly missed by many other family members and friends. Betty will be remembered for her dedication to her family, her excellent culinary skills and her ceaseless sense of humour. Special thanks to the staff of Palliative Care at the Brantford General Hospital and also to Dr. McNeil for all their care and compassion. Friends will be received at the HILL & ROBINSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 30 Nelson Street, on Tuesday, November 5th, from 12-1 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Donations to the BGH Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
