DEMELO, Joao "John" - Passed away peacefully on Monday, January 27th, 2013 at the Brantford General Hospital, in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Maria (nee Resendes) Demelo for 40 years. Much loved father of Paula (Clay) Demelo, Marco Demelo and step-father of Regina Resendes and Ana Resendes. Dear grandfather of Christina, Derek, Austin, Ashley and Kodey and great-grandfather of Sophia and Vincent. Loving brother of Jose Pedro Demelo of Portugal and the late Manuel Demelo. He will also be dearly missed by many other family members and friends. Friends will be received at the HILL & ROBINSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 30 Nelson Street, on Thursday, January 30th, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
