Obituary of Esther Halsey

HALSEY, Esther Mae "Tiny" (nee Hawkins) - Passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, June 24th, 2014, at the Brantford General Hospital, in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Harvey Halsey (2009). Much loved mother of Muriel (John) Anguish, Carol Neath, Glen Halsey, John Halsey (Laurie) and the late Dorothy (David) Bowen. Loving grandmother of 10, great-grandmother of 16 and great-great-grandmother of 3. Dear sister of Doris Weaver, sister-in-law of Marlene Hawkins and Maynard (Jackie) Halsey. Predeceased by her brothers Donald and Norman Hawkins, and by her sisters Agnes Williamson, Jessie King and her twin sister Ruth Lichter. She will be sadly missed by her cherished granddaughter and caregiver Diana, as well as many other family members and friends. Esther was a past member of the Branch 90 Royal Canadian Legion, she had a great sense of humour and a wonderful smile. Friends will be received at the HILL & ROBINSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 30 Nelson Street, on Thursday, June 26th, from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Interment Mt.
