TAKACS, John - Passed away suddenly on Friday, August 22, 2014, at the Brantford General Hospital, in his 86th year. Beloved father of John (Rose), Allen, Ronald and Terry (Sandra). Dear grandfather of Leslie, Monique, Summer and Anna. Ex-husband of Marilyn for over 19 years. He will also be dearly missed by many other family members and friends. John was an avid collector of tractors and worked for Cockshutts and White's Farm Equipment prior to his retirement. Friends will be received at the Hill & Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre 30 Nelson Street, on Wednesday, August 27th from 10-11 a.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. Donations to the Diabetes Association or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
