COURNEYEA - IORIO, Jean (nee Simpson) - Gone to be with her Lord and Savior, Jean passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, October 18th, 2014, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Cecil "Budd" Courneyea, and Michael Iorio Sr. Much loved mother of Mary-Margaret (Brian) Webster, Mickey (Terry) Iorio, Patrick (Donna) Iorio, Kathleen (Donald) Falls and Anne Marie (Dennis McMasters) Denver. Cherished grandmother and great-grandmother. Jean will be missed by faithful, furry companion, Ben. For many years Jean was a realtor and property manager, and happily worked well into her 80's. Special thanks to all the emergency services, including the Paramedics and Cst. Chris Croome, and the nursing staff of the Brantford General Hospital's 8th floor. At Jean's request cremation has already taken place. Friends will be received at the HILL & ROBINSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 30 Nelson Street, on Tuesday, October 21st, 2014 from 1-2 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Donations to the Brant S.P.C.A. or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
