Rock, Richard Leroy "Rocky" - Passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, Jan. 31st, 2015 in his 92nd year. Beloved husband and best friend of Betty Rock for 30 years, and the late Velma (nee Vansickle) for over 40 years. Loving father of Sharon (Ronald) Pursley, Carol (Brian) White, Diana (Paul) Brown, Lee Myke, Brenda Rock, Richard (Cindy) Rock, Ken (MaryAnn) Jolley, Kevin (Debbie) Jolley, Keith (Cheryl) Jolley, Kathy (Brian) Mastervick, and Kyle Jolley. Devoted "Papa" of 24 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his brother Sid, sister Grace Ross, grandsons David Pursley, and Christopher "Rock" DelGiallo his granddaughter Whitney Myke, and 3 infant grandchildren. He will be fondly remembered by all of his family members and friends. Rocky was a veteran of the Second World War, and was a transport driver for Finch Transport for over 30 years. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the Hill & Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 30 Nelson Street, Brantford (519) 752-2543. A Private Celebration of his life has been arranged. Donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
