FRASER, Gladys Emma (nee Wettlaufer) - Peacefully on Monday, April 6, 2009 at Henderson General Hospital, Hamilton. After a short and courageous battle with cancer in her 83rd year with her daughters by her side. Loving wife of the late Gordon Charles Fraser. Much loved mother of Joan Hill (Robert), Hamilton and Joyce Fraser and Allen Trost, Medicine Hat, Alberta. Will be sadly missed by grandson David Hill. Beloved daughter of the late Edward and Caroline Wettlaufer. Sister of Edna Pembroke, Nanaimo B.C.; Freida Martin, Englehart; Mabel MacDonald (Bruce), Stratford, the late Laura Schmidt (Alvin) and the late Helen McDermitt (Stan) both of Tavistock and the late Archie Wettlaufer, Stratford. Gladys will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. A private interment has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Hill & Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 30 Nelson Street (519) 752-2543. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Juravinski Cancer Centre (Hamilton) would be greatly appreciated.
