CARPENTER, Irene (nee Brown) - Gone to be with her Lord and Saviour, Irene passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 5th, 2011, at home in her 95th year. Loving wife of the late George Carpenter (1998). Beloved mother of Doris (Clifford) Britton and her late son-in-law Frank Giles (1996). Dear grandmother of Paul Giles, Teresa Watson, Sheila Cole and Lisa Pearce. Much loved great-grandmother of 12 and great-great-grandmother of 12. Irene was a life time member of the Brantford Seniors Club. Friends will be received at the Hill & Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 30 Nelson Street, on Monday, May 9th, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Scott Bacon officiating. Interment Johnson Cemetery, St. Williams. Donations to Camp Trillium would be greatly appreciated.
