FARRINGTON James "Jim" - Peacefully at Brantford General Hospital on Sunday, May 8, 2011 in his 77th year surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Marian Birdsell. Much loved father of Jeffrey. Loving brother of Dorothy Bisset, Freeman Farrington and the late Bonnie Robertson. Predeceased by his parents Selby and Beryl. He will also be missed by many other family members and friends. Jim was a proud member of the Ontario Trotting Association, the Harness Horsemen's Association, Past Patron of the Order of the Eastern Star Meeting Waters Chapter No. 173 of Paris and Past Master of Ayr Masonic Lodge No. 172. There will be an Order of the Eastern Star funeral service at the funeral home under the auspices of Meeting Waters Chapter No. 173 of Paris on Friday, May 13th at 6:30pm. Friends will be received at Hill & Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 30 Nelson Street on Friday, May 13th from 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 1 pm. Cremation has taken place. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
