Condolences
Dear Jim Jr. and family, I am so very sorry to hear that your father Jim Sr. has passed away. I had come to know your father through the St. Andrews United Church Choir. He enjoyed music with a passion and loved to sing. He was a man of many stories and enjoyed sharing them with others. Jim will be greatly missed by those who lives he touched in many ways. You are in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you all. Sincerely, Martha Cookson
Dear Elsie and family I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Jim. He is the 4th member of St. John that I knew who has passed away in the last few weeks. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Sincerely Tom Allan St. John Ambulance Brigade Retired
To The Linnington's Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the passing of Jim. He was a great boss and mentor to me during my time at the Post Office. But more importantly became a great friend. I remember his support while i was operating the Paris Speedway as well as the rest of the family. I last spoke with Jim at Brant Park a couple of summers ago. I remember how happy he was to see me as i was to see him. Bless you all he will be greatly missed. Bob Sewell
My sympathy to the family. May your memories of happy moments overshadow the pain of your loss.
So sorry to hear about Jim's passing. I can remember meeting Jim as a young girl when I joined St. John Ambulance. Our paths have crossed many times throughout the years after my dear friend Carol married Spencer. My heartfelt condolences to the entire family.
To Elsie, Jim and Spencer (and family) He was taken too soon! Mom, Rob and I are all thinking of you during these very difficult days. We were deeply saddened to hear the news. Have been looking at all of the photos posted (did I see Mom in one of those with all her 'brothers'?) and remembering our visits and great times we've had together as a family. Hang on tight to your memories, they will bring you great comfort and strength when you need it most. Just got off the phone with Mom (crying again!) and you are aware that we won't be able to get there for the visitation or funeral this week, however, we will be at Mount Hope Cemetery on June 2nd and in Ancaster on the 4th for Dot' memorial. We haven't been in touch lately, but please know that we will miss him alot. Can you just imagine what's going on in heaven now with all four brothers and Dad too!! All our love, Carmen, Rob and Gayle
