HOLLOWAY, Lorna Jean - Passed away peacefully at Park Lane Terrace on Thursday, July 7th, 2011 in her 94th year. Beloved and faithful wife of the late Herbert "Spud" Holloway (1994). Loving mother of Karl and his wife Joy, Keith and his wife Linda, Brian and his wife Donna. Caring "Nana" of Christopher, David, Beth, Daniel, Joanna, Michael, Jane and Taunya. Proud great-grandmother of 8 great-grandchildren. Lorna was a Graduate of Toronto General Hospital School of Nursing in 1940 and Life member of the Women Missionary Society of Presbyterian Church in Canada. She also enjoyed membership in the Brantford Garden Club and the YM/WYCA and was a long time volunteer at the Brantford General Hospital. Friends will be received at the HILL & ROBINSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 30 Nelson Street on Saturday from 10-11 a.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 11:00 followed by cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
