Obituary of Joyce Peacock

Peacock, Joyce Ann - With the deepest of sorrow, but hearts filled with pride and love, her sons announce the passing of their mother. Joyce Ann Peacock passed away, with her son Tim by her side, at the Brantford General Hospital, on Wednesday, August 17th, 2011 in her 80th year. Loving mother of Timothy, of Brantford, and Douglas, of Ignace, ON. She is predeceased by her parents Malcolm and Laura Duncan, and her sister Isabelle (Nick) Robinson. Survived by her loving sisters Chris (the late Ron) Thomas and Laura (Ralph) Campbell. She will also be fondly remembered by Patti, Brandyn, Robert and many nieces, and nephews. Joyce worked for many years at Holstein Friesian in Brantford, and was a long time volunteer for the S.P.C.A. Her family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Stedman Community Hospice (especially Shelly and Dr. McNeil), and too many nurses to mention for their care and compassion throughout her illness. Cremation has taken place. Donations to the Stedman Community Hospice would be appreciated. A Memorial Service will be held in memory of Joyce at the Hill & Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 30 Nelson St. on Saturday, August 27th, 2011 at 1:00 p.m., visiting for one hour prior to the service.
