Condolences
Ron met Tom through Masonic functions of which we attended a number of times with Betty and Tom. Betty would chat about her family and it was obvious how proud they were of them. During Betty's illness Carol would drive Betty to London or Woodstock for X-rays or treatment when needed. We had great chats either during the drive or over lunch. Betty shared a few recipes and her love of Swedish weaving with me. She was very patient when teaching me the latter. We were so sorry we were not able to be present at Betty's service but we have fond memories of our visits with her. We will remember her positive attitude, giving nature and the energy with which she lived her life. She will be missed.
We wish to give our condolences to the family of aunt Betty our prayers are with you. Arthur and Family. (nephew)
We were so sorry to hear about Betty's passing. She was a wonderful lady and she will always be fondly remembered. May you all find peace in your memories of her and remember her love and kind gestures. Deepest sympathies, Judy Ackley, June Tidey and families
I'm so very sorry for your loss! I'll always remember the laugh that Aunt Betty would break into when she and Mom shared a funny story from the past. She was a very strong and wise woman with much to share and I know she's touched many lives as she shared herself with each and every one of those that she met. My heart goes out to you all! Hugs, Carrie
'Always be a first rate version of yourself instead of a second rate version of somebody else'. ~ Judy Garland This quote reminds me of Aunt Betty. She was such an authentic person who spoke her mind. She was easy to be with because she was easy to trust. There was never a hidden agenda with her. I enjoyed spending time with Aunt Betty and hearing stories about her, my Dad and their siblings growing up together. I will miss her. My heart goes out to my cousins, who have lost an amazing woman from their lives. May your grief be brief and your healing begin soon. L&L, Bonnie
