Henry Theadorus Lamers Jr. Journeyed on from this life on March 19, 2015 embraced by loving hearts and hands at his home in Brantford, Ontario. Henry was born April 14, 1963. His life has been a story of love, from his first years when he learned to walk, talk, and play in the sandy fields on the family farm near Straffordville, to his final years at his Brantwood Community Services group home, which was filled with light, joy, laughter, music, adventures, and celebrations. Gone to be with his loving parents, Henry Lamers Sr. (1935 - 1996) and Betty (Nee Ferrow) Lamers, (1940 - 2002). Henry leaves his sister Cheryle and her husband, Paul McQuiggan of Straffordville, and his brother, Edward and his wife Patricia of Parry Sound. Henry has six nephews and a niece: Chris McQuiggan and Khristina Cook, Ryan McQuiggan and Sydney Underhill, Tyler McQuiggan, and Craig, Dylan, Ashley and Jordan Lamers. His life was also blessed by two great-nieces, Victoria and Ellie McQuiggan. Henry is also survived by his house-mates and care providers at Brantwood, along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Henry's life at Brantwood Community Services - Group Home, 25 Bell Lane, Brantford, 1 pm on Saturday, March 28th, 2015.
