Condolences
What an amazing life Margaret had. I loved looking at the video. Just imagine the things that she saw in her lifetime and the things that she lived through. The only people whom I knew in the video, were Margaret, my Uncle Ted and Aunt Miriam Chamberlain. I am sure that I would recognize names of some of the other people there. My mom is Ione Bennett, nee Chamberlain. She is 97 years old and had recently been writing to Margaret. Ione will be saddened to hear of her passing as are my sisters and I. I am sure that she will be missed by many others as she was a remarkable woman. Rest in Peace Margaret.
I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.I know it is hard to I have many fond memories of Margaret. It is never easy to lose someone special. She was such an awesome lady and lived a great long life. She was very active. I will miss her baking. talking to her, seeing her flowers, etc.. i know I will miss her a lot.
Aunt Marg was indeed a very special and unique person throughout her life. Self reliant, caring, involved, and constantly on the go. As a 9 yr old, I vividly recall Marg & Ernie's wedding, arriving at Grandma Walker's home aboard a horse drawn carriage with a fringe on top --- Margaret was absolutely radiant!
Aunt Marg defined the term "Lady" - in dress, style, concern, volunteer work, promptness, penmanship - I don't think she ever missed a birthday, anniversary, thank you, or Christmas card!
She balanced her life by being an avid sports fan & also often accompanied Ernie on early morn fishing & hunting excursions -- quite the LADY !
To the Berry Family, our sincere thank you for all that you have done for Margaret through the days & years. She thoroughly enjoyed your company, home, dinners, card games..... the list goes on, but especially your caring.
We shall always remember this Special Aunt & Lady !
