Obituary of Patricia Girdlestone

Girdlestone, Patricia - Has left on her next stage of the eternal journey, her spirit free to find peace and move on to more beautiful places. She passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 in her 64th year. She is survived by her daughter Melissa Jackson (Harlos), beloved kitty Thirteen, her sister Eleanor and brothers James and Richard. Predeceased by her husband Harry Girdlestone, her parents Ellen Joseph (Green) and Earl Joseph, and her siblings Frank, David, Gerald, Janet, Isabel, and Mary.

Patricia was a homemaker and amazing mother who touched the lives of everyone she met with her compassion and good humour. She will be forever missed and held close to the hearts of all who knew her. At Patricia’s request cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service. Her ashes will be scattered in a private moment between her and her daughter Melissa so she may go back to the ocean she so loved. Found in her belongings, some beautiful thoughts: Let me live among the clouds where the eagles soar, I am wind and sun, water over rapids, the quiet presence of a shadow.
