MINNS, Walter "Curly"
Surrounded by his loving family, Walter passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 13th, 2016, at the Brantford General Hospital, in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Sharon Minns for over 57 years. Much loved father of Sherri (Gerry) Willson, Bill (Linda) Minns and Jim (Kim Harris) Minns. Loving grandpa and great-grandpa of several. Dear brother of Kay (Nicki) Balog, Faye (Ralph) Mannen and the late Hubert "Sam" (Anne) Minns. Predeceased by his parents Ralph and Hazel Minns. He will also be dearly missed by many other family members and friends. A long time retired employee of Massey Ferguson. Many thanks to the nurses, doctors and staff of the Brantford General Hospital CCU unit. At Walter's request cremation has already taken place and private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the HILL and ROBINSON FUNERAL HOME and CREMATION CENTRE, 30 Nelson Street, 519-752-2543. Donations in lieu of flowers to Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
