Shelly Phillips, your adoring wife, was instrumental in providing my daughter with a solid foundation of education and learning, the kind of education needed to be a confident, active and contributing citizen to community. Our family has always been grateful for the leadership and guidance Shelly so effortlessly gave to her students, Marrhinca included. Please know we are thinking of you. Shelly will be missed and remembered in Grace.

Mrs. Phillips was my high school teacher for many years. She taught me not only to be a student but how to be a great student. She taught me more skills in my years at BOCA than any other other teacher has taught me. Her wisdom and learnings have guided me throughout my University career an onto my current dream job. I could not imagine my life without BOCA and the love of Mrs. Phillips. My heart is so heavy hearing of this news.

We are close friends of Steve and Cori. We have known each other for close to 40 years. We have met you and Shelley but I think the most recent occasion was at the party for Steve when he turned 50. Please know we have been thinking of you continuously since hearing about Shelley's illness. You are both in our thoughts and prayers.
