Obituary of Frederick Newman

Newman, Frederick Charles Passed away surrounded by his loving family at the Brantford General Hospital on Thursday, March 30th, 2017 in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of Muriel Newman (nee Eastman) for over 52 years. Loving father of Tanya. Devoted grandfather of Nicole (Luke), Bree Pearce, Lacey (Tyler Mt. Pleasant), Jordan (Mariah), Alicia Jackson, and Shelby Jackson, and 3 great-grandchildren Hailey, Cali, and Grayson. Fred is survived by his brother Bill Winter, and his sister Nora (Vince) Hanscom. Predeceased by his parents Nora Winter and Jock Reid. He will also be fondly remembered by John and Ruth Fogarty, Wayne Pruder, Lorraine Day and many other nieces, nephews and friends. Fred was a retired employee of Hussman Refridgeration. He loved his dogs, but his wife, daughter, and grandchildren were the light of his life. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the HILL & ROBINSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 30 Nelson Street, on Tuesday, April 4th, from 10-11 a.m. A Memorial Service will follow in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
