SKILLINGS, Barbara Jean (nee Swears)

It is with great sadness the family of Barbara Skillings announce her passing on Thursday, February 15th, 2018. Beloved wife of Kirk Skillings for over 50 years. Much loved mother of Craig (Diana Middleton) Skillings and Todd (Tammy) Skillings. Loving gramma of Michael, Aidan, Aaron, Eric and Kayla. Dear sister of Betty Anne (Wayne) Hawthorn, Linda Doy and Judy (Bill) Stewart and sister-in-law of Cathy Skillings. She will also be dearly missed by many other family members and friends. Predeceased by her parents Melvin and Bernice Swears and her brother Robert Swears. Barbara was a passionate Health Care Aide for over 20 years, working at the John Noble Home and later St. Joseph's Lifecare. Many thanks to the Stedman Community Hospice - Hankinson House for all their care and support through this difficult time. At Barbara's request cremation has already taken place.  Family and friends are welcome to gather Paris Cemetery, 116 King Edward Street, Paris, Ontario, on Friday June 8th, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. for a Graveside Service and Interment of Ashes.
