Growing up across the street from your family, I fondly recall his kindness towards me. I know how much you will miss him and I send my thoughts & prayers to you all at this sad time.

Dear Nancy and Family
My sincerest condolences to you and your family.
My fondest memories of Joe are through our mutual love of music. It is now more than 50 years ago that Joe and John and I played in the Brantford Memorial Concert Band as teenagers. My mind travels back to Monday evening band practices and Sunday Serenade Concerts. We all loved the relaxation and peace that music brought to us! Even after practice was over, we would go downstairs to the ping pong table to play a few games. I can guarantee you that I never once came even close to beating Joe or John! They were wonderful musicians and great guys. These memories will stay with me forever.
I trust in this very difficult time and in the future, you will recall your own memories of the wonderful times you shared together and they will sustain all of you!
Sincerely,
Nancy Gibson
