Obituary of Johanna Winter

Winter, Johanna Jantina Louise (nee: Klunder)

Peacefully in her sleep at the Stedman Community Hospice on Friday, April 27th, 2018 in her 54th year. Beloved wife of Arnold. Loving mother of Bernice, Amy and Sophia. Dear daughter of Henk and Gine Klunder. Caring sister of Bob Klunder, Alyanne and her husband David Colyn, John and his wife Sherry Klunder. Johanna was born in the Netherlands and emigrated with her family in 1978 to Walkerton, Ontario. She graduated with a BSCN in Nursing from Western University in 1988 and practiced as an R.N. in Vancouver, Strathroy, Mississauga and Brantford. Johanna married Arnold in 1993 and moved to Brantford. She dedicated her time and talent to Hope CRC and it's community through worship and ministry. Over the last 18 years she inspired many through the trials she overcame. Friends will be received at the Hill & Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 30 Nelson Street on Sunday from 1-3 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday at Hope Christian Reformed Church, 64 Buchanan Crescent, Brantford. Donations to the Brantford Christian School, the Brantford Pregnancy and Resource Centre or the Why Not City Missions, Brantford would be appreciated.

We are happy she is able to sing again in the Lord's presence.
