Condolences
I just wanted to offer my condolences to the family of Derek Horton. I will always be thankful for his shaping my career as a Birthday Party Entertainer. He was responsible for helping me get into the Entertainment business. His advice and guidance will always be remembered. I worked for him for many years. I am glad we met and may God bless you. Yours very truly, Vincent Lem (Magical Entertainer Vincent) TorontoPartyMagician.com
my father was an amazing man he was
always thinking of ways to make money and ideas for the future. he always wanted what’s best for his family and friends always caring for others. at very young age he made sure we all knew the value of money which we needed. he loved stratgy games because he was such a smart man. so he was very good at them, when i was younger he would only face me at chess but only when he took away his queen so that way he could actually try to beat me. and he would. this year was the only year i beat him at chess when he didn’t take away his queen. he was so shell shocked he stared at the board for at least 10mins in dis-belief. you could tell he was proud and mad that he finally lost. he was always super proud of all of us, some dads don’t say how proud they are of you but my dad did he let me know everyday he loved and care for us which is a blessing a lot of people can’t say their parents did. He never wanted to live life with regret and he didn’t. we just never told him enough of how proud we were of him and we are. he will forever be a pillar in our lives and we will love him forever. may my father rest in peace with the lord.
Santa Dave Coutts loved working with Derek, and Francis and Christina. I looked forward to our annual together's as we planned the new Xmas season. Derek's passion for Santa and his joy with working with his clown performers was always noticeable.
It will be a sad year for Santa Claus this year without Derek to assist him with assistants.
Our deepest sympathies to Francis and all of his family.
David and Marcy Coutts.
Sending my deepest condolences to Francis and the family! Derek had a big heart and he will be missed dearly. He was amazing to work with! He was understanding and caring.

My memory of Derek is of a kindhearted, well-mannered caring family man. I remember swimming trips with our young kids together many years ago, picnics at the park and time out with friends that Derek rarely missed. He loved life and was always there for his family and friends.
My deepest condolences to Francis and the children. My prayers go out to you all. May God bless you with great peace and comfort during this difficult time.
Santa Dennis. will remember our 10 years working together. My condolences to the family & Tina especially who worked with me.
Derek was my boss many years ago and one of the most caring people I have ever met. He set an example for me and for his family by showing love and laughing as often as possible. While I cannot attend the visitation this Friday, I send my deepest and most sincere condolences to Francis, David, Christina and Thomas.
Thinking of you,
