Obituary of George Robinson

Robinson, George Walter - Passed away peacefully at the Hardy Terrace Long Term Care on Saturday, October 22nd, 2022 at 78 years of age. Deeply missed by his best friend and partner Diane Miller. Father of Corrie (Robyn). Fondly remembered by nieces Tammy and Debbie and nephews Gordon and Jason in addition to Kim, Charlene (Sarah), Robert, Candis and Erik and several grand nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by his in-law's Debbie (Rick), Donna (Shawn), Dale, Dane and Linda. George was predeceased by his wife Kathy (1995), parents Melville and Bessie Robinson (nee Elliott), brothers John and Donald Robinson, sisters Linda Sutton and Marilyn Plant. George and his brothers John and Don were proud of the fact they were the first born male triplets in Brantford. George worked as a car salesman at Northway Ford Mercury for 48 years upon his retirement in 2012. George enjoyed tending his garden, bowling, dancing, bicycling and took great pride taking part in the Terry Fox Run. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. The family would like to thank all the staff at Hardy Terrace for the care and compassion they demonstrated to George during his stay there. Friends will be received at the Hill & Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 30 Nelson Street on Saturday November, 5th 2022 from 12:00 pm until the service time at 1:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held in the chapel on Saturday November 5, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place. Donations to the Parkinson's Society, Alzheimer Society, Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
