Obituary of Otto Karl Philipp

Philipp, Otto Karl - Passed away peacefully on Friday, September 22nd, 2023 in his 91st year. He was predeceased by his wife Inge and their son Roger. Loving father of Juergen (Janet), grandfather to Jeffrey (Myriam), Christopher (Erica), Emily (Dorian) and great Grampa to Deirdre, Henry and Madeleine. Otto came to Canada at the age of 22 in 1958 and worked as a tool and die tradesman for 51 years. He lived in Brantford for his entire time in Canada and was an active member of various community groups including the German Club. The family would like to thank the staff at the St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre for their care and compassion especially the wonderful staff of Chestnut Court. A private family celebration of life will take place at a later date. Donations to St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
