Hauley, Violet Diana Passed away peacefully at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 in her 91st year. Violet was predeceased by Donald Cater, her husband of 47 years and most recently predeceased by Ralph Hauley, her husband of 7 years. Loving Mother of Mike Cater (Jackie) of Langley, British Columbia, Ian Cater (Joanne) of St. Thomas Ontario and Dan Cater (Deborah) of St. Thomas Ontario. Cherished Grandmother of Matthew Cater (Sabrina) of Calgary, Alberta, Megan Dolloway (Dave) of Chilliwak, British Columbia, Michelle Cater (Peter) of Vancouver, British Columbia, Myles Cater of Langley, British Columbia, Candice Baltus (Nathan) of Bruce Mines, Ontario, Cory Cater (Adriana) of St. Davids, Ontario, Ink Cater of St. Thomas, Ontario, Bryan Cater (Amanda) of Keswick, Ontario, Jeffrey Cater (Helen) of Mississauga, Ontario, Loving Step Grandmother to Carla Martin (Jeff) of Cambridge Ontario, Leslie Payne (Chris) of Goderich, Ontario. Violet was also a loving Great Grandmother (GiGi) to 15 great grandchildren. She will be fondly missed by all who knew her. At her request, cremation has taken place and a private family memorial will be held in the spring of 2024.
