Barnett, Michael Leigh - In sadness, our father Michael Leigh Barnett of Brantford Ontario passed away on Sunday October 29th, 2023 at 94 years of age. Born July 12, 1929 he was predeceased by his wife Vinette who passed away in March, 2009. Loving father of Judy Kanyo (Bill), Beverly Graham (Doug), Elaine Collission (Mike), Diane Barnett, Michael Barnett Jr (Lindsay) and Christine Wassink (Bob). Grandpa to Stephen and Geoffrey Kanyo, Rob Meth, Skylar Collisson, Jessica, Katelyn and Joshua Barnett, Katie Hunt and Kevin Wassink. Great Grandfather to Kenton and Loghlann Kanyo, Hunter and Reese Wassink, Logan and Olivia Hunt and Jayden Barnett. Special thanks to the staff at Hardy Terrace Long Term Care in Brantford. A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, November 10th, 2023 from 1:00-3:00 pm at the Hill and Robinson Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 30 Nelson St., Brantford, 519-752-2543. Michael will join his wife at Mount Hope Cemetery following the Celebration of Life.
