Wakeling, Ken- It is with great sadness that we announce the recent passing of Kenneth Wakeling on February 29th 2024 at St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre Brantford. Survived by his friend and past wife Barbara Wakeling. Father of Kimberly (John). Predeceased by his sons Jeff and Kirk. Loved by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ken dedicated over 35 years to his career at the City of Brantford Waterworks. He had a love for animals including his cat, traveling to where it was sunny and warm, fishing, gardening and woodworking. A heartfelt thanks to the devoted staff at St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre. Cremation has taken place and out of respect for his wishes there will be no service. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with Hill and Robinson Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 30 Nelson St. Brantford, 519-752-2543. Donations to the St. Joseph's Life Centre or the Brantford SPCA would be appreciated.
