Sneath, David Edward - 84 - of Seasons Retirement Residence, Brantford, Ontario passed away after a brief illness, at the Brantford General Hospital on Sunday, October 20th, 2024 in his 85th year. David was born in Paris, Ontario. David was the son of the late David Sneath and Edith (Holland) Sneath. After high school David joined the military at 17 years old and served 35 years with the Canadian Armed Forces with postings in Lahr, Germany; Trenton, Ontario; Winnipeg, Manitoba; and Yellowknife, Northwest Territory as Chief Commander of Northern Region Headquarters. Upon retirement from the military David worked at Deer Lodge in Winnipeg and then as a school bus driver. David later settled back in Ontario at Delrose Place in Delhi Ontario which he very much enjoyed his time there and then moved to Seasons Retirement Residence. David is survived by his son Guy (Crystal), step son Kelly, step daughter Maureen, brothers Chuck (Sandy) and Harold "Hap" (Ardith), as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. David was predeceased by his first wife Helen (Cleaver) Sneath, his daughter Cathy, his son David, his second wife Flo and his nephew Rob. Friends will be received at the Hill and Robinson Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 30 Nelson Street on Sunday, October 27th from 12pm until 2pm. Cremation has taken place.
