I would like to extend my sympathies to all of your family in the loss of Joyce. I especially would like to mention to Jessica and Mike that I remember you from my years at North Ward School. Jessica, this seems surprising and maybe strange, but on Thursday I was getting my Christmas mugs from storage and came across the one with the little dog on it that you gave me. You likely don't even recall it. I especially like that mug and have often thought of you each Christmas when I use it. So, imagine my thoughts to know that it was the same day when your grandmother passed away. Dear Ann I was so sorry to hear about the passing of Brown Owl. I'll always think of your Mom as a vibrant, lively, assertive person with a lot of gusto. 86 - no regrets. You were lucky to have her with you so long. I hope that she enjoyed good health until the end. We lost our Mother in April. There will be many emotions and ups and downs in this time for you and your family. And so there should be........ she was larger than life and will leave a big void.
