Obituary of Joyce Bamsey

BAMSEY, Joyce Eleanor (nee Tucker) - Passed away in her 86th year, on Thursday, November 20th, 2008. Predeceased by her husband Wilbur "Bam" Bamsey in 1990 and parents Eleanor (1988) and Charles (1981) Tucker. Joyce was born in Toronto, and moved to Brantford upon her marriage in 1951. She was active in Guiding for over 35 years, including many years spent as Brown Owl at Trinity Anglican Church in Eagle Place, and was a member of Wesley United Church for over 50 years. Survived by her children Ann (Dan) Bulpit of Peterborough, and Russ (Natalie) Bamsey of Paris, grandchildren Ginny (Jay) Tanguay of Trenton, Jessica (Jason) Pilon of Orillia and Mike Bamsey of Guelph, as well as four great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the HILL & ROBINSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 30 Nelson Street, on Sunday, November 24th, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday at 1:00 p.m. Donations in lieu of flowers to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
